On Thursday, September 19, Veraz restaurant is pleased to present a culinary journey in collaboration with two renowned young chefs awarded by the Michelin Guide, chef Martina Puigvert from Les Cols restaurant in Olot and chef Alejandro Serrano from Alejandro Serrano restaurant in Miranda de Ebro.

The acclaimed chefs will craft a 7 acts-tasting menu featuring the most emblematic dishes of their restaurants, which, despite of the distance, share a creative and innovative cuisine defined by the local seasonal produce and inspired by the beauty of their hometown landscapes.

A gastronomic and artistic delight balanced by the sensitivity and creativity of these two young and acclaimed chefs awaits you.

CHEF MARTINA PUIGVERT
Martina Puigvert shares the kitchen with her mother at Les Cols, an awarded by Michelin Guide haute cuisine restaurant in Olot. Located in the rural and volcanic region of La Garrotxa, the acclaimed restaurant has a traditional vegetable garden where innovation and sustainability blend seamlessly to recover and cultivate lost local varieties. Respect for seasonality is at the heart of the project, offering locally sourced products presented in pure dishes that reflect the landscape and nature of this Catalan region.

Les Cols has been awarded 2 Michelin stars, the green Michelin star, 3 suns by Repsol Guide and the National Gastronomy Award. Martina Puigvert has been awarded as Young Chef 2024 by Michelin Guide.

CHEF ALEJANDRO SERRANO
Alejandro Serrano restaurant, located in Miranda de Ebro in Burgos, values the region of Castile through his culinary proposal focused in the sea products and seafood from the Cantabrian and the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean. His colorful, creative, and fresh gastronomy aims to make fine dining more accessible to a younger generation looking to enjoy, discover and feel stimulated. After years working in some of the most prestigious restaurants, Alejandro Serrano opened his own eponymous restaurant in 2019 in his hometown, Miranda de Ebro. His innovative gastronomy highlights the landscapes of Castilla and the region’s local products.

In December 2021, Alejandro Serrano became the youngest chef in Spain to win a star by the prestigious Michelin Guide. He was also awarded with 1 Sol by the Repsol Guide and included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.
