Sophie at EDITION

On the 14th floor, Sophie at EDITION pays homage to Japan’s abundant seasonal ingredients and rich culinary traditions through the lens of a modern brasserie. Local produce sourced from small regional farms informs the restaurant’s casual brasserie-inspired menus from Morning to Lunch and Dinner, all accompanied by a seasonally changing cocktail menu.

Punch Room is EDITION’s globally celebrated cocktail bar concept, inspired by the refined elegance of 19th-century London private clubs and centered around the timeless art of punch. An intimate and sophisticated retreat, Punch Room invites guests to explore the deep-rooted heritage of punch-making, thoughtfully reimagined through the lens of Japanese culture. The menu is curated around five distinct categories, each reflecting one of the “five flavor pillars” of punch, harmonized with a unique facet of Japanese tradition. Every creation showcases exceptional Japanese ingredients, ranging from artisanal local spirits and sake to ryokucha tea and rare regional spices. Punches are served either by the glass or presented in exquisite silver bowls designed for sharing, accompanied by elegantly crafted ladles.

Lobby Bar sits at the nexus of the hotel and serves as a sophisticated retreat for both in-house guests and clued-in locals from early mornings to late nights. The gold-colored bar, surrounded by ivory fabric armchairs and a sweeping statement sofa, serves up coffee with beans from a local roastery alongside pastries for breakfasts on the go.

At The Tokyo EDITION hotels, sustainability has been one of our core themes each year, expressed through the creation of a festive tree in collaboration with local artists. This year, we are delighted to unveil “DREAMLIGHT HOTEL”, a festive tree themed “A Hotel Within a Hotel”, created by art director Yuni Yoshida and design brand 130 (OneThirty). The installation will be on display in the lobby from Friday, November 21 to Thursday, December 25.

A festive tree designed to evoke a sense of warmth and wonder—one that lingers in the hearts of guests long after their visit. Subtle variations distinguish the trees displayed at the two EDITION hotels—The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza, and The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon. These delicate differences serve as delightful little surprises, inviting guests to experience a touch of joy and playfulness. This unique rooftop oasis delivers a green retreat from the street-level bustle, which opens to intimate plant-fringed seating nooks and long communal tables for private gatherings. Located on the 15th floor, The Roof fuels social gatherings with champagnes, wines, and seasonal cocktails featuring Japanese spirits and ingredients, complimented with modern brasserie-style light bites from Sophie at EDITION. The Roof opens seasonally, and the seats are available if the weather permits.

The ROOF will be closed from November 15, 2025 and will reopen next spring.
