On June 23, celebrate the arrival of summer at The Roof with our San Juan Summer Party, inspired by the magic and tradition of the iconic Verbena de San Juan. A celebration that welcomes the summer solstice with music and rituals believed to bring renewal and good fortune.

Experience one of the most special nights of the year from a unique terrace setting, where signature cocktails, tarot card readings and a sunset DJ session set the tone for the evening, as guests gather around the bonfire, releasing the past into the flames, under the summer sky, embracing the energy, rituals and vibrant atmosphere of this celebration.

From June 25th to July 5th, discover a special installation by artist Emmanuel Carvajal, celebrating individuality through a contemporary lens.

Titled “Connected. Visible. Proud” the piece draws from his series “We Are All Connected”, bringing to life a universe of expressive characters, each distinct, yet connected through subtle lines of light and movement, evoking a shared sense of energy and belonging.

Emmanuel Carvajal, a Mexican artist and muralist based in Madrid, is known for his vibrant use of colour and his ability to transform spaces into immersive, emotional experiences. His work has been featured in Vogue España, Vanity Fair and El País, and includes collaborations with brands such as Apple, Google, Meta and Louis Vuitton. At the heart of his practice lies a clear vision: art as a catalyst for connection and transformation.

Throughout these days, his work will unfold seamlessly across the hotel, travelling through its different spaces and revealing itself in both subtle details and more striking interventions. From the main entrance, where the installation first sets the tone, to a series of unexpected moments across the property, the experience evolves naturally, inviting guests to discover it at their own pace. Alongside the installation, a special cocktail created for the occasion will be available, offering another way to engage with the celebration.

In a relaxed, convivial greenhouse-like setting framed by a blackened steel cage clad with climbing plants and coloured glass panels that cast bright patterns across the room, Oroya, the restaurant helmed by Peruvian Chef Diego Muñoz, serves a relaxed menu with family-style sharing plates such as tasteful ceviches, Peruvian-style fried calamari or sweet lucuma desserts, telling the story of Peru’s cultural history with influences from Spain, Africa, Italy, China and Japan. These can be washed down with pisco-led cocktails such like the famous Pisco Sour or a Capitán, signature cocktails or a glass of wine from the perfectly executed drinks menu by expert bartenders, that has led Oroya to win at the Top Cocktail Bars Awards in 2024, for the third consecutive year.

Oroya’s terrace, The Roof, is an outdoor seductive garden in the sky featuring a fireplace and a vine-covered pergola beneath which sits a bleach teak bar and rattan bar stools alongside a long oak table, perfect for the cocktail hour, lazy lunches, intimate candlelit dinners or light bites with friends and family.

For colder and rainy days, the service continues inside at Oroya, offering year-round day and night service for guests and visitors alike.

Tucked away from the rhythm of the city, Punch Room Madrid is an intimate cocktail bar that revives the ritual of punch—the precursor to the modern cocktail, first created aboard 17th-century trading ships and carried across cultures, palaces and generations.

As part of EDITION’s global Punch Room concept, the space takes on a distinct character in Madrid, where heritage and craft are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, creating a warm, inviting setting dedicated to connection and experience.

“Legends & Likes” brings this journey into the present, exploring the figures that have shaped each era. Each creation becomes a liquid story, designed to be shared and discovered, reflecting the evolving nature of influence, inspiration and the ritual of drinking together.

A dynamic and sociable space offering a new kind of gathering place for the city’s most discerning residents and visitors, dressed in a mix of custom-made bespoke furnishings – such as the u-shaped sofa with dramatically back-lit shelves – and custom made, bespoke pieces by well-known designers arranged in intimate seating groups. This includes Jean-Michel Frank sofas and armchairs, recycled bronze stools from Maison Intègre, rope-covered chairs by Christian Astuguevieille, and a shapely pool table, which designer Emmanuel Levet Stenne sculpted from a single slab of white Bianco Neve matt marble. Behind the hand-crafted scalloped copper bar is a backlit caged bottle display and, as ever, there is a strong emphasis on warm, indirect lighting, which has been thoughtfully considered to give the room a warmth, softness and approachability while illuminating key pieces under direct spotlight.
